Deadlines
I need a minimum of two weeks to edit a manuscript. I do have a full-time job which is why I need more time than other editors. If the author is not able to send me the manuscript on time, it is not my responsibility if other deadlines are missed. Only full manuscripts will be accepted. If the manuscript is late by one day, I will still accept it with no penalty. If it is late more than that, the manuscript will need to be rescheduled to the next available slot or refund the down payment.
Refunds and Cancellations
The author or I have the right to cancel any time during the editing process. Should you choose to keep my edits, you will be charged $1.25/page for edits of more than ten (10) pages. If less than ten pages have been edited, you will be charged $1.00/typo.
Refunds will be processed via PayPal. Full refunds can be done 60 days from original payment. However, if you reserve a spot that's more than 60 days ahead, I will have to manually refund your account, deducting any fees that PayPal might have charged me.
Manuscripts and Reservations
There are two ways that reservations can be made:
1. I reserve dates by dividing a month in two. You can reserve the first half or the second half. If you need a different setup (i.e. scheduling the second and third week of the month), let me know and I'll see if it fits my schedule.
2. Only for rescheduling: if your manuscript needs to be rescheduled, the reschedule day can be any Monday of the month.

I will send progress emails as I see fit.
I will send you emails for clarifications unless you specifically instruct me to just note it in the manuscript. Please note that I only do one read-through, and clarification emails are the most cost-effective way to get your manuscript as polished as it can be during this process.
